Do I have to be licensed to work in a hair/beauty salon in Kentucky as a shampoo & cleaning girl?

I went and applied for a job at a hair salon but she said she thought that the state regulations had changed and I might have to have a license to work there? Does anyone know? I'm not trying to cut anyone's hair or anything just to clean and shampoo.Do I have to be licensed to work in a hair/beauty salon in Kentucky as a shampoo %26amp; cleaning girl?
I live in Indiana and I did it while I was in beauty school.


I didnt have to be licensed to do it. You would just have to talk to a salon manager and see if they needed you or not.
